Ald. Patrick Levar (45th) today invited residents and their families to "sample the Taste of Polonia." The annual Labor Day festival of culture, food and music will be held Friday through Monday at the Copernicus Center, 5216 W. Lawrence Ave.

Greetings!  

Welcome to the 45th Ward Website.

This is about a special place in Chicago - with great neighborhoods, beautiful parks, good schools, a new library and state of the art police station which has made our community one of the best in the city.

As a lifelong resident of this northwest side ward I know there are always important changes - both here and in the City of Chicago.  With this website we’ll try to keep you posted on important events, city programs and issues that make a difference.

We’ll talk about business development in our ward.  We’ll talk about neighborhood news.  We’ll tell you about important city services.  And we’ll provide you with helpful links for you and your family.
